“Win What You See” in Push Gaming’s New Generous Jack Slot

Push Gaming is brainstorming hard to develop games that defy traditional standards in online slots. One of these ingenious works to be added to Christmas stockings this year is the Generous Jack slot. As the company claims on their site, its inspiration was to achieve a game that felt different and unique to stand out from the wider slot offering and its portfolio at Push Gaming. The result is a slot that is a mix of land-based slots elements and a fresh "win-what-you-see" concept that we really liked and wanted to share to get you up to speed for the release on the 12th of December.

The aim of the game is to join numbers, open more reels for more (multiplier) numbers, and trigger the free spins feature. Generous Jack has a 3x4x5x6 layout that is stacked vertically. It consists of a Generous Jack symbol, which is also the Bonus symbol, a Dud or a Blank symbol that has no value, and ten multiplier symbols from 0x to 9x.

The game is inspired by the "win-what-you-see" concept, meaning any multiplier, aka a number symbol, that lands on an active row will award the respective win. That also means if two or more numbers appear in succession, next to each other, like x3 and x0, then they create a double-digit multiplier, in this example, 30x.

That’s all good; however, only the bottom row with three symbols is played by default, so the rest of the three rows are not played until certain conditions are met. One way to activate the rest of the rows and expedite the chances of winning is to use one of three Super Bets:

  • 5x Super Bet – activates two rows.
  • 20x Super Bet – activates three rows.
  • 50x Super Bet – activates all four rows.

The other way to activate rows is to get those Jack symbols on an active row, for which you’ll also get a free re-spin. If another Jack comes up on the re-spin, then a new row gets unlocked. The Jacks also get collected into a special Free Spins meter. Depending on where the Jack Symbol is put on the meter and how many you get in one paid round, you can win between 3-10 Free Spins. However, only the active rows will be played in the bonus.

The last option to get the most out of the game is to buy the bonus for 150x bet, the minimum of which is 15 credits with a 0.10 credit base bet. Before you do that, you should know that Generous Jack is played with high volatility, and it has a maximum win of 10,000x bet. While browsing for a Push Gaming casino to test it out, note that the game also comes with five RTP configurations: 96.23%, 95.38%, 94.36%, 90.39% and 88.42%, the last two of which are exclusively for the German market/casinos.

Other cool Push Gaming slots to try until the release on the 12th are a similarly novel Space Stacks, and Retro Tapes with Cluster Links, which was released a week ago and which will surely appeal to fans of the Jammin’ Jars series and the equally fun Fire Hopper.
