While NetEnt’s stock price has plummeted after the most recent interim report once again, for the Swedish company it’s business as usual coming up with new future hits. Having started the month of July with a Hall of Gods jackpot winner, going live with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and finally launching the spectacular Jumanji video slot in association with Sony Pictures Entertainment, the iGB Live Amsterdam conference is just the right time to unveil a whole new product line – MAX.
The MAX Bigger Hits concept is, as they put it, made to cater to different player groups and their motivations, allowing operators to address different needs with one game launch and marketing push. In other words, as with the new Berryburst video slot that was also just introduced on NetEnt’s official YouTube channel, they’ll be doing double releases: one standard game and one with the MAX feature. The difference is that the one with this innovative new feature will offer a bigger win potential yet the same RTP and NetEnt game mechanics.
With the twin Berryburst slots, their upcoming slots that launch on 23rd August, you could be playing both with the same stake but win up to 6,000x your total bet on the MAX version compared to just 3,000x in the regular Berryburst slot. Obviously, something must be different and it’s most likely to be the variance or volatility, with the MAX feature tweaked to add more risk.
Let’s hear from Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer of NetEnts: “It is important for us to diversify the volatility in our games as we know that our partners are demanding more flexible games catering to different player needs, and we are a supplier that listens to our customers and deliver quality.”
“We are certain that the MAX releases will add another dimension to our already hugely popular portfolio, and we are pleased to increase the standard of the gameplay experience for players.”
As far as the slot features go, the exact stats are yet to be seen but the video teasers show us that it’s played on a 4x5 reel with stacked symbols, expanding Wilds and base-game re-spins at a minimum. That is to say, Starburst fans should especially like this one. And with the new MAX feature critics of the NetEnt variance should also consider giving it a try at least!
So, stay tuned until 23rd August when the two games will go live at one of the featured NetEnt casinos which you can see on this page. And be sure to let us know what you think of it in the comments below too as we very much welcome your input as well.
