As the new year starts to pick up some motion with the annual iGaming conference, ICE London 2019 setting the pace, a favourite games developer Yggdrasil is pleased to announce its fourth studio to join YGS Masters following Rabcat, Northern Lights, and Fantasma Games. It’s a Hong Kong-based developer AvatarUX Studios and its first game is coming soon.
AvatarUX Studios joins the popular game developer’s initiative to develop and deliver unique content as an independent studio, while also adding to Yggdrasil’s own popular content and benefiting from its large client base and game-boosting technology with tournaments and more. In fact, the YGS Masters has also won the company the Innovator of the Year for the third year in a row at the 2019 International Gaming Awards.
What sets the Asian studio apart from else is its focus on the social and highly interactive games, as well as portrait-first casino games with an Oriental touch. The first game to be delivered is Kingpin. Judging by the official trailer, this medium variance and low volatility video slot promises to deliver Battle Royale type elements, while also delivering an RTP of 96.2% and a maximum win of 2,000x bet.
Who else is better to talk about the company’s vision than Carson Wan, Managing Director at AvatarUX: “Our games are unique. Why do we make slot games in Asia for the European market? Well, it worked for Bruce Lee! YGS Masters now gives us the opportunity to use Yggdrasil’s infrastructure and platform capabilities, including BOOST®, to really push us, enhance our games and take our business to the next level.”
As Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist reassured public, there’s much more YGS content coming to more regulated markets very soon. He added: “We will continue to do what we do best and develop high-quality content, however there is a huge appetite globally for large volumes of curated, localised content. As a result, we will substantially increase our output by partnering with more independent studios, creating a collaborative publishing model and curating a much larger, global content roadmap.”
