Yggdrasil, an award-winning iGaming developer, continues its expansion in the Nordic and Scandinavian region signing two more partnerships. This time the deals are with state-owned operators: Paf (Ålands Penningautomatförening) and Swedish horse racing specialist ATG. Among the games will be the developer’s latest releases and maybe even progressive jackpots, which we also touch upon below.
Founded on the Åland Islands in the Baltic Sea in 1966, Paf.com has been at the forefront of online gaming not only in its home market, Finland, but also in Spain, Latvia, Estonia and Sweden. Currently powered by popular vendors like NetEnt, Play’n GO, Microgaming, ELK Studios, Big Time Gaming, NYX and Quickspin, Paf is also among the few operators to offer proprietary games with localised themes.
The time has come to add new and popular video slots from Yggdrasil, including their ever-popular Vikings series and new releases like Hanzo’s Dojo and the 20-line Wolf Hunters which just came out. Paf players can also expect to see game-related campaigns and promotions thanks to Yggdrasil’s in-game promotional tools like BOOST®, across all the markets.
Kim Johansson, Chief Gaming Officer at Paf, said: “Yggdrasil’s casino content is a firm favourite in our current markets and has proven to be a great success across regulated markets, so we are very excited to be able to offer their highly innovative games to our loyal players.”
Another operator from the north, ATG, has signed the same deal with the Swedish developer this week. The agreement comes at a time when the country’s sole trotting and racing betting operator is getting ready for the soon-to-be re-regulated market that will take place in January 2019. When exactly the new portfolio of games will actually go online on the operator’s casino is unknown.
Fredrik Elmqvist, Yggdrasil CEO, commented: “Our range of innovative casino slots games has proven very popular throughout Europe, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with ATG, one of Sweden’s most respected operators who have a large, loyal and dedicated customer base. Our regulated market strategy is accelerating and we’re looking forward to the Swedish market opening next year.”
Speaking of Yggdrasil games, be sure to check out their latest Halloween-themed release, Wolf Hunters, and keep an eye on progressive jackpots on slots like Joker Millions and Empire Fortune, which have now exceeded €6 million! While it’s a far cry from the world record that was beaten just a week ago, the grand prize is clearly past the boiling point for these games.
