William Hill, one of the UK’s biggest bookmaker, and the award-winning provider of casino games Yggdrasil, have just signed a content integration deal. With it, the operator will get access to the studio’s full suite of slots, including their innovative marketing tools.
Having been awarded a B2B remote gambling licence from the Gibraltar Licensing Authority in June last year, Yggdrasil have considerably expanded their footprint with deals like Lottoland, Bet365, and now the omnipresent British William Hill brand.
To express that in Yggdrasil’s CEO Fredrik Elmqvist’s words:"William Hill is one of the most respected names in gaming, so it is obviously a huge thrill to add such a trusted and successful tier one operator to our ranks.”
He added: “Since gaining our Gibraltar licence six months ago, we have secured several major operators, and working with the very best in the industry is driving us forward and keeping us at the very top of our game.”
Since William Hill opted for a full direct integration, their players will also benefit from the developer’s reputable collection of in-game promotional tools. This includes BOOST™ and social sharing tool, BRAG, which you can read all about in this report.
As far as games are concerned, Yggdrasil’s ever-expanding slots portfolio includes blockbuster titles like Joker Millions, Vikings Go Berzerk and Big Blox. Casino players will also be able to get their hands on the newest release: Alchymedes. This 30-line slot pays both ways and is unlike any other video slot thanks to the Wild Patterns and Level Multipliers, which ultimately lead to 300,000-coin payouts.
Here’s what Graeme Powrie, Gaming Commercial Director at William Hill, had to say about this: “We have been hugely impressed by Yggdrasil’s commitment to innovation, and their collection of games is amongst the strongest in the casino sector. We have opted for a direct integration so we can take full advantage of the in-game promotional tools and offer our players the exceptional experience they have come to expect from William Hill.”
As casino games developers and operators are preparing for the 10th International Gaming Awards ceremony, which will be held in London this February, Yggdrasil is happy to be nominated in two categories. This includes the iGaming Software Supplier and Innovator of the year awards, where they go head to head with over 7 other top names like NetEnt, Evolution and Microgaming. More on that later this month.
