As the iGaming industry heads into the fourth and final quarter of 2016, business activity is picking up across the board. Top gaming providers like Evolution Gaming, Microgaming and Yggdrasil have all been actively signing new content deals and/or releasing new and exciting games. Here's a couple of important news items from a couple of the industry's smaller, but growing, players.
Recently, SoftSwiss has made an entry into the Romanian market through an exciting content deal with Superbet.ro. In order to maintain its ability to continue operating in the region, software certification is required to be administered by BMM Test labs, the longest standing independent laboratory operation in the iGaming industry with over 30 years of experience.
This past week, SoftSwiss was proud to announce that the testing and certification process has been completed, and the company software is now certified by BMM for use in Romania. The last time the company's software had undergone RNG testing and certification was in 2013, when they successfully received certification from iTech Labs.
Over at iSoftBet, it's a brand new futuristic looking slot that has put the company in the spotlight. The creative and exciting game Slammin'7s showcases iSoftBet's ability to produce visually appealing content through the use of state-of-the-art graphics and audio-visual segments.
The game is played with 5 reels, 3 rows and 27 pay-lines, all laid out in an unusual futuristic looking pattern. Along with the standard low paying symbols, players will see a wild symbol and a scatter symbol. The game's best innovation is how each of the hexagon-shaped icons flip instead of rotating like a traditional reel. The game also comes with lucrative multipliers on reels 4 and 5, plus a re-spin symbol that creates as many as 5 re-spins.
Followed by the new game release, iSoftBet also announced a new strategic partnership with fellow software provider Gamingtec. Unlike iSoftBet, this company is fairly unknown to most players and focuses not only on casino games but also sports betting. As noted in the report, the deal will allow to expand into new markets and offer players a richer choice of games.
Here’s what Head of Business Development at iSoftBet, Michael Probert, had to say: “We have a vast portfolio of games certified for regulated markets including Spain, Denmark, UK and Italy, and this deal with Gamingtec will help us increase our player base further. We’re very happy to have Gamingtec as one of our partners and look forward to working with them.”
