As leading iGaming studios are making major steps to stay competitive in the ever-growing live casino sphere, Playtech has just announced of another major milestone. The long-planned migration of its services to the world’s largest 8,500 square metre live casino studio in Riva, Latvia has been finally completed.
Opened in February 2017 due to a huge surge in client demand, the company has been slowly but steadily migrating their clients’ operations to the new state-of-the-art venue in the heart of Riga Old Town. This includes existing clients like bet365, Coral, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power-Betfair, as well as Sky Betting & Gaming, which was the first to make the move earlier in April.
Moreover, Sky Casino’s new Playtech ONE offering proved to be so successful that it even got the operator this year’s eGaming Review Innovation in Casino award.
Custom-made to meet each operator’s specific needs, the studio is home to hundreds of uniqye tables and gaming areas. This includes an advanced control and monitoring centre and large-scale dealer campus used to train and develop all Playtech live dealers.
The custom live casino solution has proven to be very popular among the casino brands who can afford the operational costs, with plenty of additional space available for new customers who will be switching on their operations throughout 2017 and beyond, according to Playtech.
That said, here’s what Shimon Akad, COO of Playtech, commented: “Playtech demonstrates its absolute commitment to delivering the best Live Casino experience and this project is significant testimony to it. From making one of our largest ever investments and redeveloping this site into the world’s largest Live Casino studio, to completing the largest Live customer migration ever seen, it’s been an exhilarating, non-stop journey and there is much more to come.”
He added: “Licensees and potential new operators visiting the new and innovative studio have been blown away at the operation we have here now. They have been so excited to see the huge progress we’ve made in creating unique dedicated experiences and word is spreading fast to other operators in the market.”
“Getting to this stage so quickly and without any issues is due to the enormous dedication of the team. I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to this project for achieving what is, without a doubt, the world’s most cutting-edge, best-performing, next generation Live studio,” Akad added.
That in mind, there are more exciting live casino news in store for this year, especially that both Evolution and NetEnt are also revving up their live products and services, including the exclusive offering with the casino’s own branding.
