NextGen Gaming, the independent game studio of NYX Gaming, has further extended its partnership with the world’s largest online casino at PokerStars by launching their bespoke games on the New Jersey regulated site.
Following their earlier endeavour with PokerStars.DK that operates within the regulated Danish market earlier in February of this year, the Sydney-based games developer has launched its first lot of 21 slot games on the US site via Open Gaming System (OGS™).
The New Jersey casino that’s operated in partnership with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, now offers some of the studio’s most beloved premium titles like Doctor Love and Mad Mad Monkey, as well as recent hits Double Play Superbet and Gorilla Go Wild. New Jersey residents are also bound to like their licensed titles like An Evening with Holly Madison and James Dean, which are part of the developer’s extensive branded content catalogue. All new additions are mobile compatible and can be played through PokerStars’ free downloadable desktop, iOS or Android app.
This is the second US casino partnership for the iGaming studio, following the re-launch of Caesars Casino on NYX’s market leading Open Platform System (OPS) in New Jersey in June last year. That in mind, here’s what David Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer at NextGen Gaming had to say about the current landmark agreement: “NextGen is delighted to launch its first games in New Jersey with our close partners at PokerStars. This latest development further cements the success of our strategy of expanding relationships in regulated territories while growing our international profile as the leader in digital content provision.”
That said, it’s been a year of rapid expansion and content improvement for the Amaya-owned PokerStars Casino division. Recent deals also include the addition of the fast-growing Red Tiger Gaming content, strengthening the casino offering in Spain with NetEnt, and partnering with Microgaming’s Quickfire, which gives access to the industry’s largest progressive jackpot network games like Mega Moolah. All that is now accessible to more than 100 million active members across the world.
Bo Wänghammar, Managing Director of PokerStars Casino Operations, said: “We are very pleased to offer trusted NextGen content to our PokerStars players in New Jersey. This latest fully licensed launch supports our objective of securing a leadership position in online casinos across the globe.”
