Playtech has made several important announcements during last week. This includes the announcement of three brand new slots in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, multi-year agreement with a leading operator Betfred.com, an Omni-channel slot release and improvements in the fraud and risk management department. Let’s take a closer look at each one.
Perhaps the most exciting news of them all is the announcement of three DC-branded slots: Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight Trilogy, and Suicide Squad. As their Marvel slots are about to be discontinued soon – based on the length of the contract – the company is pushing ground-breaking new releases, each one better than the last.
Having already launched not one but 6 Batman Classic TV Series slots, such as Batman & The Joker Jewels, and announced both Superman I and Superman II slots on YouTube a week ago, they are turning their Playtech ONE Omni-channel offering into every player’s dream. When exactly the newly announced slots are coming out remains a mystery, but it’s likely to happen no sooner than several months.
Better yet, as Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech said: “In addition, these new titles will contribute to the growth of the prize level of the DC Super Heroes Jackpot.”
Speaking of games, they’ll finally launch the ICE 2016 advertised Omni-channel slot Tiki Paradise too. Players from the UK can give it a go in one of Coral’s 300 shops or 1,8000 outlets later this month. What’s special about it is that you can actually unlock new features by playing in-shop, online and on mobile. That’s possible thanks to Coral’s Connect card and casino account, which registers your playing history. This is first of its kind and what many believe, the future of gaming.
That said, Playtech has also made steps to extend its decade-long partnership with Betfred.com. This means its members will continue to benefit from its increasing and refreshed portfolio of casino games, as well as first-class bingo, poker and live casino, which they’ve spent a great deal perfecting this winter. This also includes the exclusive £500,000 casino network promotion, which launches at the end of February.
Finally, to make Playtech and its games even more secure, the company has just signed a strategic partnership with Featurespace. They use Adaptive Behavioural Analytics and machine learning to detect any unusual activity in individual player behaviour. While this doesn’t have an immediate effect on players, it’s certainly beneficial for casinos and ensures smooth operation on all levels.
