Evolution has just launched their second Indian live casino game, which was announced earlier this year. It’s a popular Asian variant of Three Card Poker called Teen Patti that is designed to offer an authentic and more personalised playing experience. In this easy-to-play live game, players can win up to 5:1 in the main game and up to 1000:1 with two optional side bets. It accepts an unlimited number of players, and you will already find it at selected Evolution casinos alongside their other Indian live table game, Super Andar Bahar.
Evolution’s Teen Patti is streamed from a beautiful Asian-themed studio with native Hindi-speaking dealers. Each game is played with one deck of 52 cards, excluding Jokers. The betting starts by placing an Ante bet, which ranges between 0.50 and 10,000, and has an RTP of 96.63%. The game also has two optional side bets called Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus. After the initial bets are placed, the player is then dealt three face-up cards. If you decide to play the hand, you place a Play bet that must be equivalent to your Ante bet. By folding, you lose the Ante but not the side bets. The dealer is then dealt three face-down cards. The aim of the game is to achieve a better three-card Poker hand than the dealer’s three-card hand.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the dealer needs a Queen high to qualify, so if the three dealer’s cards are lower than a Queen, then the player gets paid 1:1 on the Ante, and the Play bet is Push and gets returned. If the dealer qualifies with a Queen or better in their hand, then both hands are compared. If the dealer wins, the player loses both of their bets. If the player wins, they get paid 1:1 for both the Ante and Play bets. The Ante Bonus is awarded if the Player has a Straight or better:
- Straight Flush or higher – 5:1
- Three of a Kind – 4:1
- Straight – 1:1.
The two side bets pay regardless of the value of the dealer’s hand. The Pair Plus side bet offers the chance to win up to 100:1 if you make a Pair or better (RTP 95.51%):
- Pair (2s through Aces) – 1:1
- Flush (any three cards of the same suit) – 4:1
- Straight (three cards of different suits making a run) – 5:1
- Three of a Kind (three of the same cards) – 30:1
- Straight Flush (three cards of the same suit making a run) – 40:1
- Mini Royal Flush (Ace, Kind and Queen of the same suit) – 100: 1.
The 6 Card Bonus side bet offers a potential payout of up to 1000:1. It makes the five-card Poker hand by combining both the dealer’s and player’s cards (RTP 91.44%):
- Three of a Kind – 7:1
- Straight – 10:1
- Flush – 15:1
- Full House – 20:1
- Four of a Kind – 100:1
- Straight Flush – 200: 1
- Royal Flush – 1000:1.
All of the possible scenarios with a visual representation are conveniently available from the game info screen too. If you are playing Teen Patti for the first time, then remember that as a rule of thumb or the best strategy is always to play Queen (the highest card), 6 (a kicker or the second highest card) and 4 (the third highest card) or higher.
