Games Global is in our spotlight yet again. This privately-backed company that acquired Quickfire’s back catalogue of gaming content and an extensive customer network last year, has just announced a new network jackpot – King Millions! It includes two top-tier prize pools, one of which has the potential to exceed €30 million. The first game with the new prize pool called 9 Masks of Fire King Millions by Gameburger Studios, launched on Microgaming-supported online casinos on 31 July, and there are plans to incorporate the feature into more of their games in the future.
Unlike the company’s existing progressive jackpots, Mega Moolah and WowPot! (which has now exceeded all previous records), the King Millions jackpot is unique in its offering for it has just two distinct jackpots capped at €1 million ($1.1 million) and €2 million ($2.2 million) respectively:
- GRAND Jackpot – Starting amount €2,000,000, default contribution 3.4%, expected win €30,000,000+, expected annual wins 1-2
- MAJOR Jackpot – Starting amount €1,000,000, default contribution 1.1%, expected win €3,000,000+, expected annual wins 3-4.
This jackpot can drop at any moment during the base game, adding an element of surprise and excitement for players. When triggered, a bonus wheel will appear with win multipliers ranging between 7x and 100x the bet, along with the MAJOR and GRAND jackpot variants. This feature is supposed to not only enhance the gaming experience but also increase the chances of winning big. From the probability standpoint, the jackpot bonus wheel should appear every 450 spins on average regardless of stake size.
Here’s a fun fact: The King Millions Major jackpot can be ring-fenced to a market, group, or brand, and then customised to provide an experience that best meets the needs of a casino operator. Casinos can customize liquidity, contribution, seed, expected hit value and branding, including bespoke jackpot options. For example, 9 Masks of Fire King Millions is configured to have a base game of 86%, plus the jackpot RTP of 4.50%, for a total RTP of 90.50%. This is anything but ideal in the long run, but that’s what you have to pay for a chance to win millions in jackpots.
Andrew Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, expressed his excitement about the new product: “We are always looking to push the boundaries here at Games Global, especially when it comes to our jackpot products as we have built a strong reputation for ourselves as a leader in that field. Designed specifically to raise the bar on progressive jackpot slots, we're expecting to see the top prize pools swell above €30 million before dropping, awarding eight-figure sums the likes of which have never been seen in the industry.”
Games featuring King Millions jackpots will be certified in all major regulated markets and jurisdictions which permit global jackpots, such as the UK, NL, SE, BE, MT, and RO. Support for additional regulated markets which require local jackpots will follow. Meanwhile, other upcoming releases by Games Global which we are excited about include Book of Mega Moolah, which should be out at the end of September.
