Monopoly Big Baller – Evolution’s Bingo-Style Live Game Show Out Now

Evolution has just launched its second Monopoly live game show. This time, instead of a giant wheel that is the centrepiece of the existing Dream Catcher version, it’s all about the bouncing balls of bingo that will set the stage for the main bonus game. And that will be, of course, the world-famous board game which needs no introduction. Let’s see what changes they’ve made to that bonus and how Monopoly Big Baller is played because it has been available at Evolution casinos for a few days now.

In Monopoly Big Baller, players step on a riverboat cruise featuring a live and automated ball drawing together with a live game host, and an augmented reality Mr. Monopoly himself, just like before. The game is played with four 5x5 bingo cards with 25 numbers on each. Players can bet from as little as 0.10 on each card, after which the host will draw 20 balls from the bingo machine that can range from numbers 1 to 60.

Two types of cards to bet on, including the Chance card with a multiplier in the centre and a Free Space card with at least one daub that acts as a drawn number. Mr Monopoly will then randomly assign multipliers (Standard, Line or Global) and free spaces or daubs to all active cards. The multipliers range from Standard (10x or 20x), Line (20x or 50x) and Global (2x or 3x). Upon a line win, both the Standard and Line multipliers will be added up before multiplication, whereas the Global multiplier will also multiply that combined multiplier together with the bet. The base payout per winning card without any multipliers is 3x, whereas the maximum is 199x on the Chance card.

Additionally, players can bet on two bonus cards, the 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls, which can lead to the board bonus game. Statistically, it’s easier to get 3 Rolls as it only requires 3 numbers instead of 4 for the 5 Rolls. Either way, players must bet on either of the side bets to participate in the bonus. Like the Monopoly Dream Catcher, the augmented reality Mr. Monopoly will walk a beautifully designed 3D virtual Monopoly board and assist players with each roll of dice.

The bonus game is all about multipliers that can be boosted by up to 500x with houses and hotels. Like in the original Monopoly board game, there are also Tax squares which deduct 10-20% from your bonus win, Go to Jail (which will require doubles in two tries), Free Parking, as well as Chance and Community Chests that award a prize or charge a mystery fee. Each time Mr Monopoly passes GO, all the prizes on the board get doubled. Last but not least, each time doubles are rolled, players get one free roll.
