Greentube, the Novomatic Interactive division, has acquired Mazooma Interactive Games (MIG) to welcome aboard its latest subsidiary Greentube UK Ltd. Although the UK-based games developer was already a member of the Novomatic Group, the move is part of a mission to reorganize the online offering for better efficiency and collaboration.
To add to that, Georg Gubo, Greentube COO, commented: “We are very happy about welcoming new members of the Greentube family. This is a significant business reorganisation to support our growth plans in the UK both from a B2B and B2C perspective.”
The 1997-established provider of digital content to the Internet and mobile markets in the UK and internationally, Mazooma joins other subsidiaries, including StakeLogic, which has been actively making headlines for the last year or so.
MIG, which comes from a land based background, plays a key role in the UK market and makes land-based slots available online. As such, in 2014 Mazooma had an important share in the creation and development of the interactive Bell-Fruit Casino offering, which you can experience today.
As the agreement goes, the UK developer’s existing customers, such as OpenBet, Gala Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill, Betfair and Sky Vegas, will be provided with local access to the entire Novomatic Group portfolio, which consists of over 270 titles, for both desktop and mobile gaming.
Speaking of games, some of the most recent MIG games include the 20-line Snake Rattle & Roll, with a progressive jackpot, the 243 Ways Spectrum, with a Reel-Locking feature, and the highly volatile Sirenas, which features 10 bet-lines, 5 reels and 4 bonuses. Mazooma fans have nothing to worry about as Greentube UK promises to retain the game build and its design capabilities in this new format.
Tony Oliver, Greentube UK Managing Director, added: “It is an exciting time for us. This investment from Greentube will provide clarity to our customers as well as support our expansion plans in the UK market.”
All that further confirms that Greentube is back in the limelight and aims for a bigger share within the iGaming industry. As you may remember from the earlier news report, the company is constantly expanding their content by signing agreements with big names like bet365 and iGaming Cloud, as well as GVC Holdings and EveryMatrix, all of whom they partnered with in 2017 alone. Because of that, you may now find their games beyond casinos like Star Games and Bell Fruit Casino.
