International Game Technology PLC Announces Award to Its Subsidiary For Seven-Year Contract From The Wisconsin Lottery

International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced to award a seven-year contract to GTECH Corporation, its subsidiary company.  The contract includes full-service lottery terminals, a new broad-based and instant ticket lottery system, self-service instant-ticket printing, telemarketing, warehousing, and communication networks. Following the award, the company has received the best overall score from the procurement.

Michael Chambrello, the CEO of North America Lottery for IGT said: “The Wisconsin Lottery has achieved tremendous increase in sales for five consecutive years and has made remarkable contributions to property tax relief in Wisconsin. We hope that this contract will demonstrate our commitment to not only the Wisconsin Lottery but also the citizens they service.”

The company is expected to provide the lottery with updated version of its Enterprise Series (ES) solution, providing a tough, secure and flexible system following the contract implementation and 15-month exchange period.

In addition to that, the company will use Altura GT1200 to replace existing terminal base. Altura GT1200 offers a highly reliable, easy to use, modernized sales platform. Within the contract, Gemini^® Ultra Instant Ticket Vending Machine and ES Multi Media displays are also included as they will directly transmit as well as manage lottery information, promotions and advertisements  to players at the point of sale.

Additionally, players will be able to check their win status of instant and own draw-based tickets through the company’s self service ticket checker, Ticket-Scan Plus.

The award will see the company providing instant-ticket printing, distribution, warehousing and telemarketing services through its combined scope of services.
