Rumour has it that Big Time Gaming, the innovative Australian slot producer, is about to launch their first progressive jackpot called Megapays. The pool will be first added to their existing game(s), starting with their flagship Bonanza slot. Bonanza Megapays is expected to land at BTG casinos no later than 21st March 2021. Here is everything that we know about this exciting new release so far.
Bonanza Megapays will feature the same Megaways engine with up to 117,649 ways to win and the signature extra reel carts at the top of a 5x6 reel. Every time you win, the winning symbols will explode and collapse to make room for new ones. Because the reels are dynamic, there can be anywhere from 2 to 7 symbols on each reel, increasing the win potential and making the slot less predictable as a result. Things get even crazier in the Free Spins bonus with an unlimited win multiplier. But, what makes the Megapays version even more interesting is the randomly triggered jackpot game.
Once activated, you will be taken to a whole new set of reels with four progressive jackpots! Before the play commences, the game will choose one symbol from the paytable to be the Megapays symbol. Your job will be to spin and hope that each spin will include at least one instance of that symbol. Because the more you get, the more of them get locked, and the more you progress to the top prize:
- Mini Jackpot – needs at least 4 symbols and seeds from €100.
- Midi Jackpot – needs at least 8 symbols and seeds from €1,500.
- Major Jackpot – needs at least 12 symbols and seeds from €20,000.
- Mega Jackpot – needs at least 15 symbols and seeds from €300,000.
How fast will these jackpots grow will depend on how popular this game will turn out to be, and on the jackpot contributions. Every time you bet, the following percentage will be used as jackpot contribution: Mini (0.15%), Midi (0.13%), Major (0.12%), and Mega (0.11%). The jackpot game itself has an RTP of 9.44%. That will have some impact on the base game and why some may still choose the original game over the jackpot version. Other than that, the stakes will vary from €0.20 to €30, depending on which BTG casino you play from.
We are excited about the release of Bonanza Megapays and look forward to seeing how much the Megaways cult will impact the size of the progressive jackpots on this and all the future Megapays releases. Stay tuned!
