Microgaming proudly presents its 10th independent game studio to offer games through the proprietary market-leading platform: Alchemy Gaming. This moment is that much more important because the newly formed but highly-skilled team will also propel Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network to new heights by introducing a revamped jackpot in a new game in Q1 2019. Here’s what you should know.
With a focus on novel mechanics, visual and features, Alchemy Gaming is prepared to join the 9 other teams: Neon Valley, Gameburger, Pulse 8, All41, Switch, Fortune Factory, Slingshot, Stormcraft, and Triple Edge Studios. The 10th studio will try to set the bar even higher, among new slots like Jungle Jim 2, Rising Royals, and A Dark Matter, and has showcased their new game at the annual Sigma 2019 event.
Released in the first months of 2019, their very first game, Wheel of Wishes, is poised to take the industry by storm with its new WowPot progressive jackpot that will seed at double the Mega Moolah, which has already paid out more than €1 billion since its inception about 20 years ago. Other than the mega jackpot, the game will also feature Major, Minor and Mini jackpots that will be up for grabs in a wheel of fortune bonus game that guarantees a win.
Wheel of Wishes will be played at very low volatility, 5 reels and 10 pay-lines. The total bet is conveniently put between 0.10 and 25 credits per spin. Other than the bonus game, the slot will also have a Power Spin feature with a supersized 3x3 symbol on the middle reels. Note that the feature can also be enabled with a Power Mode side bet, taking each spin to a new level. Stay tuned as the Wheel of Wishes slot launches exclusively to Microgaming casinos in Q1 2020!
Here’s a word from the CEO of Microgaming, John Coleman: “Marking the tenth addition to our growing network of independent game studios, Alchemy Gaming is set to add a quirky edge to our portfolio. The new studio adopts a scientific approach to game development, and the team are busy creating some brilliant features and visually impactful artwork. We welcome their unique personality and relentless drive to engineer thrilling gameplay experiences.”
Rory Harpur, Head of Alchemy Gaming, commented: “With a wealth of collective experience in the industry, we understand slots and players, and what drives excitement and anticipation in games. We love how great games balance mechanics and art to perfection. Our mission is to focus on creating a polished audiovisual experience that fully supports our game features. We are all looking forward to launching our debut game Wheel of Wishes with Microgaming.”
