Casinos supporting Portuguese language

Portuguese has the distinction of being one of the few languages in the world that is spoken in another country by more people than in its home nation. In this case, due to early colonization, Portuguese is actually spoken by many more people in Brazil than it Portugal itself.

Also due to Brazil, Portuguese is the most common language in the southern hemisphere and second most common in Latin America behind Spanish. In fact, there are 260 million people worldwide who speak Portuguese as either a first or second language and it is the fifth most spoken language in the world.

Because of its nearness to Latin, more so than many of the other Romance Languages, it has been praised by authors and poets alike for its beauty and charm. Miguel de Cervantes, Spanish author best known for The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, described it as "the sweet and gracious language".

It is so highly thought of that there is actually a Museum of the Portuguese Language in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is the city with the most native speakers of it in the world. The Museum is the first museum to a language in the world.
