Microgaming To Release Thunderstruck 3, Wild Lightning

Thunderstruck may well be the most known non-progressive online slot that Microgaming has ever released. The hotly announced Thunderstruck Wild Lightning is a sequel to the successful Thunderstruck II slot that dates back to 2010, but is now also available in the remastered HTML5 format since December of last year. Customary to the theme, the new Thor-themed slot is just as outrageous as the predecessors at their time, featuring the trademarked Link&Win mechanic and a jackpot feature with a fixed 15,000x bet maximum payout. The 40-line and 5-reel setup makes for a modest foundation, which is the exact opposite of the game's user interface. On the reels we see a new set of regular symbols, including a Thor Wild that can be stacked and comes with a multiplier of x2 or x5. If the features get triggered through a collectable Wildstorm feature, however, then they will receive a further boost that can make up to five reels wild at the same time. Should be noted that Thunderstruck Wild Lightning is played with high variance throughout and a 96.10% RTP, which is the same as the original, 2003-released Thunderstuck.

Last but not least, the Link&Win feature means that it's jackpot bonus time. When triggered, the slot will cinematically transform into a symbol locking game. One of those symbols can be the Mini (25x), Minor (50x) or Major Jackpot (150x). Fill all empty positions with Thunderball symbols to unlock the Mega Jackpot that pays out exactly 15,000x!

With all that being said, there is plenty to discover in the new game, for both the fans and casual gamblers.
